Budget in the Loading Bay 2017

Back by popular demand: it's Budget in the Loading Bay 2017!

In 2016, the Federal government gave us PaTH - the widely panned "Prepare, Hire, Trial" scheme which would see businesses paid $1000 and young people paid at little as $4 an hour to, you know, work. It also saw a freeze on GP co-payments (meaning that it's become more expensive to see a GP) and an increase on the amount of tax paid by young people in Australia on Working Holiday Visas.

What surprises does the Government have in store for young workers in the 2017 Federal Budget?

Join us from 7pm in the Loading Bay at Trades Hall (enter via Victoria Street) as we watch the 2017 Federal Budget over snacks, bevvies, and a bit of Budget Bingo!

RSVP by May 7 for catering purposes
