Are you a delivery driver who is being underpaid or on a sham contract? Tell us your story
Reports from ABC and Fairfax have revealed that Pizza Hut franchisees are using sham contracts to pay delivery drivers as little as $12 per hour - and Domino's aren't doing much better.
Employing delivery drivers using “contractor agreements” allows Pizza Hut to avoid providing entitlements like petrol allowances, sick leave or superannuation – all of which Pizza Hut employees are entitled to.
We believe this is happening to young people in other industries. If this is happening to you, your workmates, or any of friends, the Young Workers Centre wants to hear about it and provide assistance to address it.
