(disen)Franchised: Fighting Back Against Franchise Exploitation

(disen)Franchised: Fighting Back Against Franchise Exploitation

It seems like you can't walk into a shopping centre or down a shopping strip without running into cases of franchised business ripping off workers - and we're sick of it.

Join us as we hear from:

  • Adele Ferguson, franchise-busting journalist who blew the lid off 7-Eleven
  • Jack Walker, a young worker who got his first taste of activism fighting back against wage theft in his Subway store
  • Malcolm Harding, barrister with extensive employment law experience and former Senior Policy Adviser to the Victorian Department of Industrial Relations

RSVP by Monday 14 November for catering purposes

The Young Workers Centre strives to run inclusive and accessible events. Please contact Sarah Bright on [email protected] to discuss any necessary accessibility requirements.
