Young Workers Emergency Meeting on Penalty Rates

March 15, 2017 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Young Workers Emergency Meeting on Penalty Rates

Our pay and conditions are under attack - now it's time that we fight back against these unfair cuts to our wages!

We're hosting an emergency meeting to start planning the campaign to defend penalty rates - and we want YOU.

Whether you're a seasoned pro who has come to the Young Workers Centre a million times before, or a total newbie, it doesn't matter - we'll only win this campaign if we all pitch in.

Young people who work weekends aren't doing it for fun - they're doing it because it's a necessity. Thousands of young Australians rely on their penalty rates to put food on the table, a roof over their heads, or just buy those overpriced University textbooks.

Weekend workers don't deserve this pay cut - so join us from 6:30pm @ Trades Hall as we plan our campaign to fight back!
