Great news! There's been big progress over the weekend in the campaign to improve conditions for Madagascan dockworkers - so we're going to hold off on Thursdays planned action to see what happens.
Congratulations to everyone who was ready and raring to go for this action - your solidarity with Madagascan dockworkers made this happen!

There's nothing like a good pair of jeans - but there's nothing good about the way Madagascan dockworkers in jeans brand Levi's supply chain are treated .
Workers loading Levi's products into ships to be distributed internationally are doing dangerous and dirty work - often for a little as $40 per month. It's not good enough - no matter where you are in the world, that's not a living wage. That's a slave wage.
We're joining forces with the International Transport Federation to demand Levi's expand its standards for suppliers to include the Madagascan dockworkers.
Come visit us from 1:30pm - 3:30pm on Thursday in Bourke Street Mall as we bring our denim-themed (yep!) social media photo booth to life in our finest Canadian tuxedos to highlight Levi's supply chain double standard!
PS - Want to help run the photobooth? Email [email protected] to volunteer!
